Buying Original Work

Yes! If you love a painting but need a little time to make it yours, I offer payment plans for a $30 setup fee. A $130 down payment reserves the painting exclusively for you so no one else can purchase it while you complete your payments. Reach out through the Contact page or message me on Etsy to get started.

Yes, my paintings have made their way to five continents. Shipping rates are calculated at checkout on Etsy.

All paintings are carefully wrapped to ensure they arrive safely. Most original work ships within a few days of purchase.
Commissions

A commission is a custom painting made just for you. Instead of purchasing existing work, you are hiring me to create something new based on your specific request, whether that is a portrait of yourself, a loved one, or a pet.

Yes! I offer portrait commissions for individuals, selfie portraits, and pet portraits. Visit the Commissions listing on Etsy to purchase.

Each commission is of one person only, from the neck up. Group portraits or multiple subjects are not available.

All portraits are painted in my signature style: mixed media, acrylic paint, inks, lots of texture, and an intentionally aged old world feel. The painting will have a likeness to your subject but is not an exact replica. Browse my shop to see examples before ordering.

After purchasing, email 3 to 5 photos of your subject to danabloede@gmail.com and I will use them to determine the best composition and background for your painting.

The entire process from start to finish to shipping may take up to one month. Please keep this in mind if you have a specific date in mind.

Yes, all commissions ship free within the United States. International shipping rates vary based on size, weight, and destination.
Workshops

After registering on Etsy you will receive a welcome email within 24 hours containing your passcode and step by step instructions. Be sure to check your spam folders if you have not received it.

You have 2 years of access from the date you register.

A full supplies list is available in the FAQ page of the individual workshop you purchased. Either on this site, or in the Etsy listing.

No. The videos are password protected on Vimeo and available to stream for the duration of your access period.
